As a Quality Inspector, you will be the last line of defense between our factory and the field. You will inspect precision components, perform in-process checks on critical assemblies, validate supplier deliveries, and ensure every part meets drawing, specification, and customer requirements. This is a hands-on, high-accountability position embedded in production.
Perform in-process, dimensional and receiving inspections on electrical and mechanical assemblies using engineering drawings, CAD models, and established procedures to verify conformance to design requirements
Identify, document, and escalate production non-conformances in accordance with QMS procedures, pursuing corrective action as required
Communicate and collaborate cross-functionally to resolve quality issues at the point of occurrence
Support the development and maintenance of work instructions, work orders, MBOMs, and inspection records to ensure accuracy and compliance
Contribute to Quality Management System (QMS) activities and assess compliance to company and industry standards
Participate in continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives on the production floor
Manage the Material Review Board (MRB) process, including data entry, reporting, tracking, and coordination of logistics related to material disposition.
Administer the calibration system by ensuring all measuring and test equipment are current with calibration schedules and meet usage requirements.
High school diploma or equivalency certificate
2+ years of inspection experience in an aerospace, defense, aviation, or advanced manufacturing environment
Proficiency in GD&T
Hands-on experience performing receiving and/or in-process inspections on mechanical and/or electrical assemblies
Demonstrated experience identifying and documenting non-conformances and supporting resolution through established quality processes
Degree or coursework in a technical or engineering field (STEM)
Practical experience working within AS9100 and/or ISO 9001 quality management systems
Specialized experience in one or more of the following:
Avionics, electronics, or wire harness fabrication and inspection
Composites manufacturing
Vehicle integration and testing
Metrology equipment (Hexagon/Faro Scanner, CMM)
IPC 610,620, ASTM, and other standards
NDE/NDT experience

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offers may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and training, critical skills, and business considerations.
