Hadrian — Manufacturing the Future
Hadrian is building autonomous factories that help aerospace and defense companies make rockets, jets, and satellites 10x faster and 2x cheaper. Our CEO, Chris Power, discusses the importance of what we're building in this video.
We are a lean but mighty team (and growing!) people that are passionate about building critical infrastructure to support the nation and the advancement of humanity.
To support our ambitious vision, we have raised > $200M from Lux Capital, A16Z, Founders Fund, Construct Capital, Caffeinated Capital, and more.

We're looking for a Manufacturing Data Specialist to manage and optimize critical manufacturing datasets, ensuring data quality and process standardization that will drive automation across Hadrian’s go-to-market and operations teams. Prior experience in aerospace, defense, and/or manufacturing is highly encouraged.

About the role

Your contributions to our internal CAD/CAM automation software suite (Copilot) will help our team automate Design for Manufacturing (DFM) analysis, CAM programming, and CMM programming. Collaborating with top-tier operators, we identify areas ripe for software augmentation or automation. Your work will have a direct impact on the throughput and efficiency of both people and machines across the organization. Come join us!

What is Copilot?

Copilot is our suite of CAD/CAM automation software that is responsible for automating Design for Manufacturing (DFM) analysis, CAM programming, and CMM programming. We work with some of the best operators in the world to identify high impact areas to augment and/or automate with software. We are responsible for designing and implementing the solutions cradle to grave. Broadly, this can be any combination of full stack web engineering, applications engineering, computational geometry, and working with a number of engineering centric APIs (documented and undocumented).

In this role you will:

  • Own the core manufacturing datasets (CAD/CAM data) that drive critical automations for the go-to-market and operations business units

  • Improve and ensure data quality through validation, sanitization, and process standardization

  • Drive process improvement and standardization projects forward while collaborating with cross-functional teams from go-to-market, engineering, and operations

  • Build alongside an incredible team of software engineers, manufacturing engineers, operators, and the best machinists/CAM programmers in the world

This might be a good fit if you:

  • Have worked in aerospace, defense, or manufacturing and have experience with mechanical drawings or part inspection

  • Prior experience as a machinist, quality technician, or manufacturing technician

  • Enjoy optimizing systems, establishing processes and best practices

  • Have demonstrated an ability to take ownership for project outcomes

  • Have any level of prior experience working with software (SQL, Web Apps, Microcontrollers)

Compensation & Benefits

For this role, the target salary range is $60,000 - $70,000 (actual range may vary based on experience).

In addition to salary and equity, we offer:

• 100% coverage of platinum medical, dental, vision, and life insurance plans for employees

• Lunch stipend

• 401k

• Relocation stipend if you’re moving from outside of LA

• Flexible vacation policy

This is the lowest to highest salary we reasonably and in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
